I have a (very optimistic) hunch we might do alright next season with monk. My
previous estimate of 16th and 3 managers is now 6th and 1 manager.

I thought we had zero chance of landing a real manager/coach given MCs
reputation, but I rate Monk, and I think MC has done a great job in getting
him.

The only way for us to get to 6th (and ultimate forecasted playoff semi final
disappointment) is for MC to get us 2 new quality defenders, 1 midlfielder to
run the show, and a better than average striker (will cost a lot!.... Will MC
have the stomach to pay 2-3-4 mill for one player?). And we need to keep cook.

If Monkey can get the current squad, plus the new recruits, to generate some
team spirit, we stand a chance.

Cheers
Alec
