He is probably the best youngster we have had since Delph. Having said that no
manager seems to have worked out quite what he is - he does not score or make
goals, he is not a sit in front of the back four midfielder and he is not a
winger. I will be sorry to lose him (although I do not blame him for going or
Cellino / the club for not being able to keep him) but £10m is a good price,
provided, and this is ALWAYS the big thing, we invest it in new players. Losing
Cook and bringing in 2 good, experienced £4m midfielders will be good business,
losing Cook and having the £10m disappear is not good.
Bottom line - look at the first team and squad when the season starts / window
closes and we can decide whether we have done good business and whether or not
things are better than when last season shut etc
