I like the sound of him from what I've seen / heard so far. Only got
limited playing time at Torino, but that is Serie A (as opposed to our
usual Serie B hunting ground). Good age. Big bloke, and an organiser. Ticks
the boxes of what we need.

With him and Bridcutt we'll now have addressed the most glaring gaps in the
squad. Just a bit sub-optimal that we're 3 games into the season and only
now sorting out the spine of the team.

Whilst I think Wood has been getting unwarranted abuse this early in the
season, I'd be interested to see us try Antonsson and Roofe as a forward
pairing at some point (maybe at Luton in the cup). Pace, pace, pace and
would give Hernandez something to feed with slide passes - he doesn't want
a big target bloke to knock it into.

We need to get through the next 3 games then we get a 2 week international
break - use that time to actual bed all these new players into something
resembling a team and effectively start the season from there.
