Eh up all! Second post in 15 years! I've seen this lad play since he first broke into the Malmö FF first team.
I rate him highly, but having not seen him play for a couple of seasons in a bit unsure where he stands. Not playing regularly isn't good for any player, and as a CB he is a player who needs regular games. Very tall, a real physical presence and reasonably good feet - an area I hope he's been improving. What the scout said is basically how he's viewed. Not bad in front of the opposition goal either - seen him score headers, tap ins, knees and what have you. I think this is good strategic move if it goes through. Antonsson needs a mate (always better when the foreigners come in pairs) & our defence needs him. /Raffe Sent from my ASUS -------- Original Message -------- From:[email protected] Sent:Wed, 17 Aug 2016 16:51:01 +0200 To:Leeds List <[email protected]> Subject:[LU] new lad COULD be the answer >I know he has not signed yet but 6'8" Pontus Jansson could be the CH we have >been looking for for all these years (we did think the same re Bamba till he >signed permanently!) >Here from a scouting report - full report >(http://www.scan-scout.com/2011/11/04/pontus-jansson/ >A bit worried that this was written in 2011 but he is down as having given >Zlatan Ibramovic a tough time... heres hoping > >In his game he is rarely dragged out of position, as he is constantly >organizing and communicating with his back-four colleagues.
