I thought he put in a bizarre performance against Villa. It looked to me like the failure of *that *shot against Liverpool to go in had really been playing on his mind, and he was absolutely determined to break his duck against Villa. The problem was that we started off so poorly that I think he only got one touch in the first 20 mins or so. After that, when we did manage to get the ball to him, he tried something outrageous and over-ambitious every time with the inevitable result that he lost it. But when The Duke's delicious cross came floating over, it was surely that I'm-bloody-well-going-to-score-today-no-matter-what attitude that guided him onto the end of it.
Hopefully, he'll calm down now! _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
