I think he picked a team to blood a few youngsters with the hope that they would win and if it was a draw, I suspect he'd have played the same team in the replay. I don't think winning the FA cup is a realistic target for us, nevertheless I did want us to win and progress, and losing to Sutton is embarrassing.
Based on the team he picked, I have to imagine that Monk wasn't too arsed if we lost though.
