I've just been checking our record on plastic pitches. I went to QPR in 1983, when we lost 1-0 (an own goal by Paul Hart). They got promoted that day, so I'm sure that was the only time we played on plastic at Loftus Road.We lost 1-0 at Luton in 1990/1, and their plastic pitch was dug up at the end of that season. I think just leaves Oldham as the only venue where we've avoided defeat on plastic (several visits in various competitions from 1986 to 1990). Preston were the only other League club to have had a plastic pitch, but I don't think we ever played on it.
Our total record in the above games, plus yesterday, amounts to won 1, drawn 3, lost 7. I can't think of any other competitive games Leeds have played on plastic, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
