I'm prepared to trust that the owner knows what he's doing. As others have said there's been a lot of investment and contract extensions. Watching us the other night I'm not sure Wood fits the way TC wants to play. There were a lot of balls into channels for him to chase and a lot of quick one twos attempted, which he struggled with. I saw someone on Twitter argue he'd only had one good season and said that was fluky. I wouldn't go that far but I certainly don't think he's premier league quality and if we get £15m plus as reported and use it to strengthen the team (LB and CB) I think we'll have done ok.
