Their first goal - Hernandez was allegedly marking their
goalscorer...Hernandez has many qualities and I am a fan, but marking
and heading are not among these qualities...this is down to
organisation of the defence at set pieces...
Just take a step back from our grumpy middle-aged keyboard
worries/gripes...my mate's 15 year old boy has never seen a league
table with Leeds Utd on top before...he is absolutely thrilled...and
can't wait for the next game each time...this is what is brilliant
about the current situation...he wants to come to football matches...to
Leeds. (He lives near Manchester)
He keeps asking about getting to away games...that is a whole other
complaint for me...been a ST holder for donkeys...try to go to 4 or 5
away each year but just can't get them (and certainly not as a group of
2 or 3 together)...

Jansson would have stopped their first goal but i get leaving him
out for a home game if he is not 100% and we have Cardiff and

As for Wiedwald - yes it was a howler but not as bad as their
keepers ! - he is going to make errors but TC has confidence in him
and our start to the season cannot be faulted really - our defence
has only let in 5 league goals, 2 from corners when Pontus was
missing, a stupid penalty, an offside goal and one keeping error -
not bad out of 9 games. Even more impressive when you look at how
many different centre back pairings / changes to the back four we
have had to make. The bit in the first half when he came rushing out
of his box was brilliant - my mate shouted (to be honest screamed is
more accurate) 'what the f..k are you doing - get back' , but he
timed it to perfection and, as he has a lot of the time, he stopped
the danger before it materialised. He is not to everyones taste and
will give us some concerns but I am happy enough to keep him in the
team
