if I could only use lads from the academy, or current EPL players or avoid
loaners, have i missed anyone obvious? And Rose as centre half might be seen as
eccentric in some quarters.

I remember the game and seeing him score that goal at 16.
I always think of him as local to me - he’s from Horsforth and I grew up in
Adel. I used to drink in Horsforth from time to time .
He always strikes me as the ultimate professional - I’m sure I read somewhere
that when at Leeds he was always the last to leave training.
He’s Leeds and he knows he is!

I guess that’s one of the many issues with our squad - there doesn’t seem to be
many natural leaders which would explain the lacklustre displays on the pitch.
Gordan Strachan types seem in short supply!
I don’t think O’Kane is worth a place in the team so I wouldn’t go for him.
