Last season the team had 61 goals for in 41 league games, so 1.33 goals for
per game. This year the team has scored 42 goals in 31 league games, or
1.35 goals for per game.
Our top goal scorers so far:
1. Roofe, 11 goals
2. Saiz, 9 goals
3. Lassoga, 8 goals
4. Hernandez, 6 goals
Goal scorers last season:
1. Wood, 27 goals
2. Hernandez, 6 goals
3. Doukara, 6 goals.
4. Bartley, 6 goals.
I suppose Orta could take the blame for not bringing in a 30 goal scorer to
replace Wood, but at least the goal scoring has been spread out a bit.
A centreback (and maybe a keeper) should have been brought in during the
window. But the discipline issues are on the head coach, not Orta.
