I joined the list a year or two before WorldNet in Leicester. Came over for
that and for WorldNet in Leeds the following year. I was recently divorced at
the time. I am now re-married and have a 13 and 15 year old. My 15 year old
daughter could care less about football. My 13 year old son is mad for it,
plays in an academy over in the US. I couldn't get him to support Leeds, he
just couldn't handle the pain and disappointment (we were in league 1 when he
first started getting in to footy.) He chose Everton as he felt they were a
proper team with proper supporters and weren't filled with glory hunters, I can
live with that.

I joined the list in the early days after finding out about it on
rec.sport.soccer, I think. I have an 18 year old daughter who starts Uni in
a few weeks. She's been to games with me a few times and was a keen
footballer before a problem with her foot put a stop to that.

I coached her team for 5 season which was great fun. She played for her
school and got to the National Schools final at the Madejski where they
were runners up. I would have given my right arm to do that as a kid.
