For what it’s worth (essentially nowt) I see Roofe doing well against weaker 
teams, but there’s no doubt Bamford is a better footballer. He has a bit more 
class up front than anyone else we have (and he should given he cost £10m ish). 
However Roofe has been a revelation so far, so even confirmed miserablists like 
me will say he owns the shirt at the moment. More problematic is the Saiz been 
man-marked and getting wound up scenario - we need more another creative option 
imho, especially as he’ll inevitably be banned at times.

Finally, isn’t it great to see a player like Shackleton come through? OK the 
odd error, but as things go I think he’s been tremendous. I hope Ryan Edmondson 
is training alongside Bamford - we need da yoof to step up if we’re not going 
to buy players in.

Top of the league seems ok to me though :-)
