I think Roberts is going to be something special, maybe more of No.10 than a No.9…but that’s OK. He’s strong, quick feet and good vision. The only reason he didn’t score yesterday were two good saves by their MOTM. He’s really come along since January. Funny when I was thinking this morning of how we accommodate him, Bamford and Roofe my only question was between Bamford and Roofe - it never occurred to me that one from those three would not be Roberts. And he is young, the ‘failings’ are things that experience will bring.
Good win yesterday. Excellent atmosphere. > On 14 Apr 2019, at 09:45, [email protected] wrote: > > Needs to add goals to his game (weird that he did score a few when we really > needed him to when he was playing at 9 when Bamford and Roofe were both out) > I said he 'pulled the strings' and when I watched the few minutes of > highlights on Quest he had a role in every single chance and half chance they > showed, plus , of course , the goal > He is very young and still learning , especailly still learning the number 10 > role which is totally new and alien to him by all accounts , he also missed > pretty much a full season when we first bought him (3 managers never got the > chance to pick him) > Dave > On Sunday, 14 April 2019, 00:28:27 BST, Nicholas Armit via Leedslist > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Three wins and a draw do it.
