I first saw Roberts early season, against Preston in which he scored
twice, but I thought he was very lightweight and probably 'not up to'
the rigours of a Championship season. How wrong I was, and he is (I
Think) a perfect example of how good Bielsa is. He looks stronger, much
more confident, intelligent and positioned perfectly to suit his game.
He's young and I think he's our version of Sterling, developed fully
(with Goals) he'll be a good (Hopefully great) member of the squad.

I think Roberts is going to be something special, maybe more of No.10
than a No.9…but that’s OK. He’s strong, quick feet and good vision.
The only reason he didn’t score yesterday were two good saves by their
MOTM. He’s really come along since January. Funny when I was thinking
this morning of how we accommodate him, Bamford and Roofe my only
question was between Bamford and Roofe - it never occurred to me that
one from those three would not be Roberts. And he is young, the
‘failings’ are things that experience will bring.
Good win yesterday. Excellent atmosphere.
