I can fully understand the difficulty of breaking down a determined team who have got 10 players in the box while 35,000 people are impatiently and frantically urging you on. I think we tried as best we could, mixing up the intricate passing moves trying to infiltrate the area with shots hit from 25 yds, but somehow you just knew from minute 50 that it wasn't going to happen this time.
What I find hard to get is how we managed to allow them to equalise. 1-0 up against 10 men.............surely at that point yeah you go for more (esp with our GD deficit), but the number one rule is you keep it tight at the back. I suppose that's the Bielsa way though, and if we are happy to take all the positives, we've got to accept the odd downside. Also, as much as I love Berardi, I can't help feeling that at least their first goal wouldn't have happened if Cooper had been playing...........Alioski was caught out of position, but that hole which their lad appeared in was absolutely Cooper territory.
