A couple of things from yesterday… both of their goals came from “Cooper’s area” of the defence, for the first one Alioski (who had a stinker) slipped…for the second Pontus had charged out to make a challenge in the play leading up to the cross which meant their big guy was jumping against Forshaw…
I also think that the subbing of Roberts and Phillips at half time took away our momentum…Forshaw didn’t replace Phillips, all that happened was Pablo dropping deeper and deeper to collect the ball from the keeper… …and I’m not even sure it was a penalty… Bamford took his goal well… …as for everything else, this was a real punch in the guts, even a draw would have been OK…fucking Leeds. > On 20 Apr 2019, at 09:20, Simon McNally <[email protected]> wrote: > > Still annoyed about the game.
