Should have been in top two, certainly shouldn’t have lost tonight. Can’t be doing with all the “we’ve had a good season bollocks”, we’ve not got promoted and are stuck in this god awful league for another year. Recruitment in January was poor. We signed a keeper, who while looking better than BPF, seems to think he’s a defensive midfielder and in combination with Cooper, handed Derby a route back into a game they weren’t in at all. I thought we needed a keeper, a centre back, a winger and a striker in jan. With Roofe injured it gave Bamford a chance to redeem himself after his ban but he was awful. He just doesn’t look arsed at all. The fact he was subbed for an attacking midfielder tells you everything. He’s not worth £7million. Also highlights the lack of a signing there - no alternative to him tonight. No back up at centre back either means Berardi playing out of position and shows again he’s got a 10p head - what a stupid challenge when you’re already on a yellow. I love his passion but he’s a fucking liability - Leeds career done for me. Cooper has had a good season and I was starting to reevaluate my belief that he was a league one player but he seemed determined to show me I was right tonight. Massive cock up between him and Casilla for the first goal and then he gives away a stupid penalty. Added to his mistake that cost us the game against Sheff Utd , I think we need better. The main thing I want in the next few days is an announcement that Bielsa is staying, then for us to shift some of the dead wood and bring in some new, better players. Here’s how I’d be looking for next season: GK : Casilla is on a long contract. If we can move him on I would and bring in a new keeper RB : Ayling - needs to learn to cross a ball but one of our best players this year. LB : new signing CB : Jansson if he stays CB : new signing- If Villa don’t go up I’d be after Mings. DM : Phillips- been amazing this year. Hope we don’t sell. RW : Clarke LW : new signing . Don’t think Harrison as bad as some have made out but need better. Dan James anyone? CM : Klich. Played every league game, performances dipped but I think more to do with others around him. AM : Pablo. I think he should play centrally. Shack as back up for him and Klich. CF : new signing with Roofe as back up. Bamford can fuck off.
Get rid : Berardi, Forshaw, Bamford, Casilla if anyone will take him.
