Not got too much to sayWhilst I like the stop crying Lampard song - it just
felt like he would get the last laugh as it was sang over and over in the pub
and then, when we got to ER the pre match music was playing the original Oasis
song !
Normally I am against gimmicks like giving out scarves but I thought it was  a
brilliant touch last night and it really led to an incredible atmosphere at the
start - all the scarves in every single section of the ground was raised as we
all sang MOT
Then for 40 mins it was pretty good we started playing well and when we went 1
up we thought it was game over and it should have been - then normal service
was resumed Kiko the Krazy became Kiko the Klown, Captain Marvel Liam Cooper
took off his cloak and became Captain Calamity - League One Liam. Add to that
the fact that Pablo was wearing his invisibilty cloak and was awful when he did
get near the ball, Berardi seeing the red mist and the red card, and Bamford
played like a forward with no confidence who would not score if we were still
playing now
And so we committed football suicide - instead of going in at half time with a
2-0 lead and their chins on the floor, we gave them a stupid lifeline and it
changed the game - then we let them walk another one in just after half time
and things were level. Giving away a penalty and then getting a red just made
the job that much too hard for us despite a good goal for Dallas
To be fair to the team they did give it 100% and the fact that they do care was
reflected in them all lying on the floor at the end whilst around 3/4 of the
massive crowd stayed behind urging and encouraging them to get their heads up
and filling the stands with "all leeds are we" and " we're Leeds and we're
proud of it "
So a disastrous end to a largely brilliant season as we threw away automatic
promotion and then follow that with throwing away a 2 nil lead in the play offs
Personally (and to be honest most of my mates) are obviously gutted but we do
believe that the future is bright and fuck it, I will be there whatever
division we are in and there is always the next game and we were split 50\50
pre game as to whether we wanted our hearts broken last night or at Wembley
I'M LEEDS AND I'M PROUD OF IT - and despite everything this Leeds team has
given us our pride back
Dave
