nick something on the break. It's like the difference between Hurricane Higgins
and Steve Davis, when Higgins played it was thrilling to watch (well as
thrilling as snooker can be) Steve Davis may have won more but he was as dull
as fuck.

I like the comments - all those who say they are Leeds fans saying what a great
season it has been and how desperate they are for MB to stay - other fans
either trying to 'big up' their team or whinge about Leeds, with a few who
cannot understand why we do not want rid of a manager who had promotion in the
bag and blew it (twice)
I just know I have loved this season - yes it was heartbreaking at the end and
all self inflicted (Wigan, Sheff U in the league and then Derby on Wednesday)
but during the season from that first match v Stoke we knew we had something
special going on
Bielsa's recent record does suggest that he cannot repeat this a second season
but, for me, as long as the players and, to a lesser degree, the fans, still
believe in him (the shouts of 'get rid / hoof it' have become less and less
over the course of the season and have brought some condescending comments of
'your first game this season mate' or ' have you not understood this season'
etc) then I think we can do it next year. Yes, we need much better luck with
injuries and we need to sort out a few problem positions but if we keep the
bulk of the squad , which we should be able to, and then get some top additions
either on loan or permanent and then bring through the likes of Shackleton,
Clarke, Gotts, Odour,Stevens, Stujick, Halme and of course Edmondson then the
future is looking great
The last few months have been tiring and I am ready for a rest but I know in a
few weeks time I will begin to miss that buzz of going to ER and will end up
going to the home pre season friendly saying 'this is always shit, why are we
here ?'
