Who would you play him instead of? Bamford? No.
Harrison? Unlikely. Hernandez? Extremely unlikely. He seems to like to play 3 in the middle away from home - these days that's Klich, Phillips and anonymous. Phillips sitting deeper - as opposed to dropping back into defence at home. So away, the width comes mainly from the wide 2 in the front 3 (because the full backs aren't pushing on as much) If one of those middle 3 is missing, Pablo has to play in the middle. Or Shackleton. Or who else, Dallas, which is no good? You can't expect Costa to play there. What is Dallas' natural position - winger? He seems to prefer him at right back? Costa/Clarke/Eddie all seem to be vying for the right to replace Harrison or Pablo, unless Eddie is an out and out forward who plays centrally? He (and Costa and Clarke) were interchangeable after about 30 mins. Who knows?
