Hi all,
I'll be coming up on Saturday, and it would be great to bump into some old
faces, or others never met before.

The Midnight Bell pub that Dave mentioned looks quite handy if coming from the
Station, or town, but not very accessible on a busy day for those coming from
out of town by car. Guess we could park up as normal and get a taxi, if we are
early enough. The pre-match Fish and Chips has become a necessity too, even
though the queue can be half way up the road.

Have recently taken to parking at the Drysalters, but the beer is pretty crap
as is the TV reception if there is an early game on.
It costs a fiver, but is lot easier to get out of than the main car parks.

3pm home games are quite a rarity (Yes I know we've had 2 in a row :)). As
I've got older I'm less keen on leaving home at 7am (early games), or getting
home in the small hours from evening matches.

Even as a Gold Member, away matches are impossible to get tickets for. I used
to go to certain games in with the home supporters, but that seems to be less
tolerated these days, unless you go completely incognito and don't say
anything. Even to the point of showing some appreciation for home team goals,
which I'm not willing to do.
Does anyone regularly go in with home fans regularly these days, or just not
bother going?

Anyway looking forward to the match and hoping for a change of luck, as last 3
visits have all been defeats!! Wigan, Derby at the end of last Season, and
Swansea back in August.

End of musings.

KOT.
