Well, it was going to happen…just need a couple of wrong bounces one way and what looks like a walloping happens. Things I took from last night: you are much more likely to be punished for mistakes at this level Vardy and co terrorised our defence - I really do worry about Cooper (and about Dallas as a defender) Bamford’s header, looked easy, but there was no pace on the ball and he was standing, rather than moving on to it…he couldn’t generate any power from there. the problems were coming all game straight through where Phillips sits - Klich is not Phillips, it is not his natural game - but it also made me see that Klich had to resort to the same kind of passing as Philips does in there, just by the nature of the role and the position they often get the ball in …and making Klich sit in there, means that his natural tendency to drive forward is either lost…or if he goes, then someone needs to drop in and cover Shackleton was, unfortunately invisible If Pablo’s shot had been a couple of inches lower…these are the margins speaking of which, swapping him for Tyler was where we lost our forward momentum and guile it would have been very different if we had had Rodrigo in there …it was a penalty, a tired challenge on the line Ah well...
