It was almost like there was still a hangover after the Crawley match. It did
improve after 30 mins, but too many passes going astray all match.

Not sure Cooper is as bad as people say, and he does have leadership value. 6
or 7 out of 10 most week and just about 6 yesterday.
Struijk was a 5 in mf and a 6 at the back and IMO rarely better than that. A
decent understudy for Cooper but not for Phillips. I keep banging on but it is
painfully obvious that none of the current squad other than Phillips can play
that role, Klich was an improvement for the last 30 mins, but can he be trusted
to hold that position for 90 mins, especially when it is not going well in
front of him?

If Llorente was bought as anything other than a last resort, then he ought to
be in the team, and we know Alioski has more poor games than good.

Overall I have to say I’m disappointed with both Rodrigo and Raphinha. Both
seem to lose the ball too easily, and disappear too often when the team needs
them for inspiration.

The bright spark yesterday was that Poveda, Hernandez and Roberts especially
all made a difference. I’m not usually confident that Leeds have players on
the bench who can do more than just fill in. But if picked to start would they
justify it?
