After the first 10 mins, most of which Burnley had possession, I said to my old man who was watching with me that Burnley were shit. Lots of big. clumbsy oafs who really couldn't live with the pace of our football when we clicked into gear. The commentators spent about 5 minutes praising Chris Wood who was never going to get a sniff from Llorente and then got subbed. He was awful. For me that was Raph's most ineffective game for us bo it was good to see other players stepping up. Klich has looked rejuvanted recently and hopefully his goal will push him on again and Rodrigo looked like the talent we know he is. He isn't the fastest but when you can move the ball quickly with your feet like he did for both the goals he looks lightning fast. Let's stop fucking around with him now and play him up front. I've been to Turf Moor loads of times and I can't remember us losing.
Scores: Miesler - 9. The kid justs gets better and better. Surely the best shot stopper in the world ? Ayling - 7. Solid Llorente - 8. Even though he's only played half the games he has to be a candidate for player of the season. We look a totally different team defensively since he's taken charge. Struijk - 7. Really glad he kept Cooper out and he looks stronger and stronger. He did make a mistake for their best chance but overall I am impressed. Allioski - 7 Can't believe they stopped the game for 5 mins because Allioski pulled a face at the Burnley lad. Philips - 8. Great performance. His ball to Harrison for Rod's first was top class. Klich - 7. Great goal Harrison - 9. Looked dangerous everytime he got the ball. Raphinha - 6. Some good breaks and flashes of skill however but he was marked well by Taylor. Bamford - 4. As bad as Wood. Dallas - 7. Maybe could have done better with the couple of half chances he had but he looks suited in midfield now.
