A very enjoyable game. I'm going to really enjoy watching Adams and Mckennie play together. They are going to be a nightmare to play against. It's not very often we have a stronger midfield than scum.
Thought Bamford was ok. He does look like someone who has not played much recently. But, he laid on the first goal and almost made a second for Willie. Harrison was wasteful. He found all kinds of space but could not make his passes. We played a good team, on the road and gave a good account. If we can maintain that level of play we will soon be safe. I thought the game completely changed during a three minute period when both Adams and then Mckennie got yellow cards. This basically neutered their aggression which up until that point had the SCUM midfield shaking in their boots. From that point forth Adams and McKennie had to be concerned about staying on the pitch and this allowed SCUM more time on the ball and created fewer turnovers for us to transition with. Hopefully the "Bash Brothers" can repeat their performance on Sunday, as it didn't look like Fernandez, Fred and Sabitzer liked it "up 'em".
