For me the decision would first be how many are good enough? Of that lot maybe only Sinisterra and Wober. Given their words and actions, neither should even be given the option imho. Inevitably, as ‘assets’, all the loanees have probably depreciated and the club will presumably loan them all out again to get them off the wage bill. I’m sure the club’s accountants have pretty much written them off as worthless re sales values, because no other club will buy them while we’re over that barrel? Whilst they’re still seen as paper assets though then our position re FFP is better - unless anyone knows better?
Harrison is ok, but blows hot and cold and I don’t think it’d be good for either him or the club to have him back. Whether we can get a few million for him I don’t know? Of equal interest come season-end, whichever division we’re in, will be the clubs ‘we want to be like Leicester’ model, selling 1 or 2 star players to keep finances ticking over - seeing Summerville, Rutter or, god forbid, Gray going would be a real sickener. > On 5 Feb 2024, at 13:08, Ted <[email protected]> wrote: > > Totally agree! > _______________________________________________ > Leedslist mailing list > Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist > To unsubscribe, email [email protected] > > Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ > > Dave Dowden, a legend, a Totty Twin, a pie man!
