Cheers I am in N10 row D in the front row, i have never voluntarily sat down,
we were forced to a couple of times under Bates (( the stewards rarely got to
the second tier) so, as you say it will make little practical difference, i
can already lean on the wall in front of me albeit the dodgy paint has ruined
my last 2 coats !
Rail seats are a good move.
I think it should be official , tickets in Revie or south - stand up. Family or
West, mainly sit down. Then fans can choose according to their preference and
ability . I can remember a few arguments when i was still in East stand upper,
(20 years ago) when some fans stood throughout and others wanted to sit down
unless a corner / attacking move etc

Hi Dave
I sit in Row X right at the back of the KOP. We have had rail seats in for a
while now. We can officially stand during the whole game now, the stewards were
very keen to inform us of this during the first game with the Rail Seats (to
much laughter). I reckon I have had a season ticket in Row X about 30 years (in
three different periods) and have never sat down during a game. The biggest
difference for me, is if I sit down too quick, I sometimes bang my head on the
rail behind me.
If you want to stand and the person behind you wants to sit, it will cause an
issue, with or without rail seats in my opinion.

Subject: [LU] Rail seats
Just had an email from the club saying they are extending the rail seats to
cover the whole of Revie Stand Upper, as from Hull game.
Anyone on here sit at the back of the stand and already have a rail seat ? If
so any views ?Obviously i have seen them behind me but not paid any attention
Dave
