I kind of made up my mind after the Doncaster game, reinforced by the Derby debacle that it is just too painful on the way home if we lose. Now for the defeatist bit. If we do lose, I am quite confident that Farke can build a side to challenge in this division next year, it is what he does. With Southampton gone, Leeds can compete financially with anyone in this league. The relegated teams are not as big financially as Leicester or Southampton. Although it becomes less clear what we can do with the deserters from last year, there will be no ownership issues and Farke will have the whole summer to build/rebuild. The other thing is, as the gap between championship and Premiership has grown, then current Profit and sustainability rules make it practically impossible to improve your squad enough to survive promotion and stay within the rules. From what I can see, the new rules for 25-26 will kind of blow P&S out of the window, but will make it easier to make mass signings.
