We were trying to get to Salford Crescent or at worst Manchester Victoria.
Got on the train due out at 4.18 , that was after literally fighting our way
through the turnstiles where hundreds of leeds were being kept in the area in
front. Managed to get last 2 seats as the train filled to the rafters. Sat and
waited and waited with the only announcement being a repeated "attention
conductor , emergency assistance requested"After 25 mins or whatever we are
told the train from darwin is due in and the driver will come onto our train
and we will set off.5 mins later " this train is cancelled- please go to the
train on platform 4"Off we trudge , all moaning and wondering how we will fit
an another trainGet to platform 4 only to see train had gone ! Rochdale train
next one due ( yours Tim?) did not go to Salford or MancNext train there was to
Salford was the 5.18 but that came up as cancelled - considered just going on
the piss but after that performance we werent in the mood So decided £25 each
for an uber not too bad. Go outside station to find a few waiting for ubers
back to Manchester but not near us , and there was a waiting time of 20mins! In
the event we only waited about 15.So what started as a good day in a great pub
was ruined by LUFC - nothing new there and British Rail System - nothing new
there either i suppose
As for the football, still annoyed and worried by the poor performance. It is
looking like a 3 horse race with us Sheff U and Burnley - the last two times
that happened we were the 3rd team ( last year - Leicester and Ipswich and
Bielsa first year - Sheff U and Norwich )

Annoying fact of the day: John Eustace has now won the last three games
he has managed against Leeds by 1-0. With two of them being penalties.

Well that will go down as one of my worst ever away days - to be fair
not all the fault of leeds unitedWe found a great old fashioned boozer
pre game - even had old style dimpled pint pots with handles ( landlady
called them barrels)Pub a third leeds, third Blackburn , third local
pissheads.Left there 20mins before kick off and even gave 2 Blackburn
fans a free lift in our uber since the 6 of them were struggling for a
minibus taxi They both expected to lose and said would be v happy with a
draw. We agreed we would win.Then the game started and we were dreadful
from first to last They hit the bar and blasted the rebound over, Struik
was tied in knots and Tanaka came to help him but gave away a definite
penalty 1 0We never recovered- we were second best all over the park
and second to every loose ball as they defended with lots of men behind
the ball and we failed to break them downGnonto had a decent chance from
a keeper error but we were never at itThe ref played 9mins time added on
but it could have been 90 and we woukd not have scored -We did get the
ball in the net via Ramazani following a scramble from a corner but
Bamford was offsideWe were very poor Then the real bad part of the day
the train home - cant be bothered going into it all but it ended with a
£52 uber homeAs i say up there with my worst away day out in 50 years of
watching leeds Shit Dave
