You're being a bit unfair to Aaronson on last night's evidence - he was the
(obviously planned) "press outlet", mostly taking the ball in tight
situations and trying to hold on to it whilst moving the game up the pitch.
Under the circumstances I was surprised at how well he did it. Last night
he didn't seem to be the powder-puff lightweight of his reputation. Having
said that, he does need to work on his passing though because he was taking
the type of decisions that SDJ did a couple of years ago - before he
learned to lift his head or was it more before he learned to curb his
optimism :)
