Agree with that Dave.

4 of us usually go together - although only two sit together - none of us could
make it… various illnesses and one broken wrist from falling on ice. So watched
it on TV. Bloody glad I didn’t get frozen to watch that.

Won’t do a commentary, but a few thoughts:

Big Josh - not a CHalf, a bring him on for the last 20 in midfield, to keep it
tight - and that was a penalty
Schmidt - seemed OK, pretty lively… can’t see why he hasn’t had more minutes
Darlow - was no better or worse than Meslier - although the race out to close
down the striker though on goal (wrong side of Guilavogui) was quality
Byram and Solomon don’t look like they gel on the left, but each looks like
they can do a job… which is weird
Ramazani - brings the unexpected, we could do with more of that
Dear old Mateo… he tries and he tries and I really want him to do well, but it
just doesn’t happen for him
Ampadu does a lot of good stuff but he gives the ball away a lot more than I
think I realised.
Nice to see Firpo and Gruev back in contention

Harrogate came and defended like Trojans… which we all knew is what would
happen. Had they been awarded a penalty after 5 minutes, that might have made
things interesting.
