Thought I'd add my memories of John "da Rev" Lee.

I met John in the mid 80s via mutual acquaintances in the music scene in
Leeds. (Faversham, Phono, etc).
Crikey, 40+ years ago!!
We also had Leeds Utd in common. I guess we were a similar age as well (I
think I'll be a couple of years older), as we also knew some similar aged
people from school.
In fact, the last time John contacted me was late last year to tell me
about an old school friend of mine (& friend of his) who was going through
a bad time, health wise.

We then reconnected around 94/95 when we "recognised" each other on The
List! A happy coincidence!

We then had a few drinks at the MOALM in London in '96. I remember us
wandering around London looking for a late night eatery with some of the
others (the American bloke? Vic?)

I then met John, DRB & others in a few pre-game list meets in the Adelphi
(& the pub in Holbeck - Brittania?)

As many on here, we were FB friends, and as we both enjoy travelling, I
loved reading about his trips, with Tracey, Cara & Danny.
We often asked each other for recommendations and tips about places we'd
been.
I also thought he was a lucky man, to be having holidays with his family,
especially as Cara & Danny were now young adults - memories for the family
to cherish.

I know John must have retired early - you could tell he definitely enjoyed
his family life.

I thought of him yesterday at full time, hope he was looking down and
smiling.

My heart goes out to Tracey and the kids, I hope they can take comfort in
knowing how highly he was thought of.

RIP John.
