Aaronsson is very much a US player. Watching my son grow up playing and in high
school it is very one dimensional football with kids running around like
headless chickens. I can see Aaronsson excelling at that over here and standing
out (and being picked up by a Red Bull team.) but beyond that what does he
bring?

Got to agree with this, does this mean that Firpo has to be converted to an
attacking winger? Or is that something else we can sort by a different line up?
I'm confused. As for Aaronson, until he converts opportunity into something
useful in every match I am still unconvinced, deffo not premiership quality.

Firpo is without doubt the best attacking left back in the league and his 2
goals recently have been great. Looking at the bigger picture though , he’s a
left back and he needs to defend and he really can’t. He can just about get
away with it in this league but there’s no way he can play left back in the PL.
Agree about Aaronson, lots of work and running which again in this league is
priceless but his lack of quality on the ball at times is staggering and you
know that he will lose out most of the time when he’s running towards the
opposition box. A weak player. ALAW
