A bad defeat today , on one level we could and should have won - penalty not given, 2 poor misses by Piroe , all at 0-0- but equally we were second best for large parts of the game and their goal looked like it was coming Anyway on to early kick offs Jonny Cooper, LUFC statistician has tweeted the following 26 games at 3pm or later - W20 D5 L1 - average 2.5pts10 games pre 3pm W2 D5 L3 - average 1.10pts So at 3pn or after we would get 115points and walk the leagueEarly kick offs we would get 50pts and be lower mid table A massive difference The big question, given we have 3 matches left with early kick off times ( that could possibly be added to ?) is it a coincidence and nothing to worry about , football throws up stats that mean nothing really, or is it a real issue and therefore a big problem that we need to sort out ?
