Dave,
I've come around to your view over the course of the season. Farke's strengths
in man management and staying cool under pressure turned out to be invaluable
this season. He also slowly won me over by adapting (almost without anyone
noticing) his tactics slightly, so that in the second half of this season we
spent a lot less time passing it between Rodon-Ampadu-Struijk-Meslier/Darlow
while the opposition got set, which was doing my head in earlier in the season.
(We still did a few of the trademark Farke set piece routine of us getting a
corner and five seconds later we're passing it back to our keeper, however.)
Nonetheless, I have deep concerns about whether Farke has the tactical acumen
to survive in the Premier League. He seems like a genuinely good guy, so I hope
he proves my fears unfounded.

Now I don't think DF is a miracle worker or indeed Bielsa Mark 2, but I do
think he has earned his crack at the Prem after amassing 190 points in 2 seasons
