Massive game tonight both in terms of our season and in terms of Farkes
future. No doubt the 49ers will be aware of the Bournemouth and Liverpool
results that kept Marsch in a job and how that worked out , so they will be
reluctant to make a decision based on one or two games, but tonight could be
the final push one way or another
The fans are certainly split ( both on here and in real life) with me and my
mates pretty 50/50 , one wanted him sacked after Southampton play off and never
really changed his mind,  2 wanted him sacking post promotion as not being good
enough, 4of us felt he 100% deserved his shot and are still behind him but very
much wavering.
The city performance has given us all hope and his future may depend on how DF
reacts to it. Revert to his old system and make subs on 70mins, include
Aaronson and Harrison in the line ups, and he is toast UNLESS we win ( then all
is forgiven for a week , or till Saturday this time)
Go for it with 2 up top and he will be OK as long as we look competitive and
give them a game- a draw or win obviously will help him massively

I'm not sure how much this " lost the dressing room " is a real thing and how
much just  a pundits fall back cliché,  but, if true,  it seems as if the team
are still very much on his side and giving him their all , so the 49ers will
not be in any rush to sack him unless the fans turn.
The fans reaction from the start will depend on his team selection/ formation
keep the 3 at the back and 2 strikers and the fans will be right behind then
from the off, revert to type and there will be moans and groans and the fans
reaction will be totally linked to the match itself , scoreline and how we play
The slightly later kick off and under the lights, plus a history of hatred
between the teams ( see lufc Lewis recent YouTube offering about the rivalry)
should mean he atmosphere starts well but could turn quickly
A game,  a season perhaps,  and a managers job all  in the balance tonight
Can't wait
Come on leeds
Dave
