Agree Dave, going to be an interesting evening.

I don't like this "2 games to save his job" business that the club seem to have
put out there.
I think it's weak management and not really fair to Farke.
Either he is the man they believe in to keep the club up , in which case they
should come out and back him or he isn't and they should sack him.
I'm like your mate, id have got rid after the Southampton playoff final but
this uncertainty does no one any favours.
Its like the summer when the club leak some info to gauge the fan reaction.
For the game, I really hope we make a game of it.
I really hate Chelsea. There's so much to dislike about them. Racist fans, Ken
Bates, John Terry, Mourinho, dodgy russian money, Ken Bates etc.
I'm not sure it will matter how we set up if Chelsea play at their best but I'd
like to see us set up more aggressively with two up top.
If he starts Aaronson again he deserves the sack!

Subject: Re: [LU] Chelsea/ Farke D Day

Yeah the lineup will be very interesting tonight.

One of Farke's favourite phrases is that he doesn't want to be "a flag
waving in the wind", which I take to mean that he has a plan which he is
confident will be the best for this squad in the long term, and he won't
deviate from it because of any short term setbacks (such as losing 6 games
in a row!)

I think in his mind the ht switch at Maine Road was a good bit of ingame
adaptation, but does not detract from the long term approach. (I tend to
agree with him, BTW.) So I think he will revert to the 4-1-2-3 tonight. I
also think he always planned to use Brenda in this match and, esp. with
James crocked again, he will start with him.

I fear that when that lineup is announced the so-called "Best Fans in the
World" (yeah the BFITW who sang "you're not fit to wear the shirt" at the
players not too many months ago) will become openly mutinous.

And as Dave says, how it pans out will be massive.

Chelsea are a bloody good side. They did play a bruising encounter, 60 mins
with 10 men, just a few days ago, and one of their best players is
suspended, but unfortunately, since the PSR rules that have hamstrung us
and brought points deductions to others don't seem to apply to them for
some reason, they've got any number of 70 million quid players they can
draft in.

Could be a very interesting evening.
