It was the most anaemic uninspiring game versus MU that I can remember. They were there for the taking despite having 2 days longer recovery, and sadly we couldn’t do it.
On the plus side Aaronson continues to prove people wrong (not least me) - good performance and a smartly taken goal; and as someone else noted, Farke really seems to have changed the team spirit and sense of belief, which is fantastic. I never thought looking at this run of games that we could get at least a point from each of them but we have and that is a massive credit to all concerned. I think we will be knackered come Wednesday. Why wasn’t Bogle playing?
