Yeah, I made a mistake and suggested to the missus that if we ever have a little girl she should be Helen Rhoda. Got rumbled and it's been banned. :( > To be fair, I'm fairly close to the fence but I'm not sitting in on it, > I'm > leaning towards the Blackwell out camp but I can see the "IN-ers" point of > view I just feel that it's been watching the poor football that's got > most of us regulars a bit down. I always feel that elation when we score - although at times this season it's been tinged with a good dose of surprise as well :) I like the set pieces going in - it's like when you know a striker's GOT to score and you start winding up for the goal. At least now we know we've got players who give a shit, even though many of the better ones have been at the club for less than a season and a half, some of them not even for a full season. I felt let down on Sunday - not that we lost but that there was so little to cheer about. I've enjoyed this season the most out of the last three, overall. There are players that I look forward to seeing play (Derry, Kilgallon, Gregan (in an ugly-beautiful way), Blake) and I like Blackwell. Not just because of on pitch stuff, but because of the way he's changed to organisation behind the scenes - as far as I can tell anyway. No manager is indispensible or infallible and, as sure as eggs is eggs, there will come a time for Blackwell to resign or be sacked. I just don't think it's yet. bates won't hang about when the time comes - look at Ruud Gullit (sp?), sacked for winning the FA Cup! Reasons the be cheerful 05/06: Leeds 2-0 Hull Southampton 3-4 Leeds Plymouth 0-3 Leeds Preston 0-2 Leeds Blake's goal against Burnley Seeing the Millenium Stadium Kelly's goal against Wigan. Derry's haircut. Lewis's free kicks (especially the one against Preston) Taking a high flying prem side to pens in the FA Cup Not reading about us getting relegated / going bust And that's just off the top of my head.
