Noone ever said it didn't happen in England to scots, or even in London to
Mancs and vice versa.

Noone will convince me otherwise that generally speaking there is a greater
animosity towards the English in Scotland than there is the other way round.

Therefore I would hazard a guess that you are more likely to get a beating
if you wore an England shirt in Glasgow than you would wearing an Scotland
shirt in London. In a totally non football related context, ie not when
there is a match on.

I was at the foo fighters concert in Mankchester on Sunday, and they had
played Hyde Park the night before. Dave Grohl made reference to the Hyde
Park gig and everyone booed the mention of it, because it was London. The
opposite would not have happened in London, as I said before, I think
primarily because London is as cosmopolitan as it comes..

I have no idea whether a Leeds crowd (non footy) would do the same? Maybe
Mankchester has capital envy I don't know.

Im not saying London doesn't have its fair share of thugs or 'hate crimes',
but generally there is an apathy towards Scotland, whereas I don't think you
can say the same about the general Scottish attitude to England.
