Rich - I'm not trying to claim that Killa is as shit as Butler - he's obviously not - but surely it's the responsibility of *every* member of that back four to at least talk to each other. Some of the communication between yesterday was laughable. As for Crainey, he's suffering from Jermaine Wright syndrome - nothing he does right is noticed, and everything he does wrong is magnified. Still doesn't mean we shouldn't have sold Harding, though.

Bloody glad I didn't get it. But having watched the goals on the telly it was clear to me that the problem is as always - when someone runs at us with pace Butler can't live with it. Two of the goals were directly attributable to this. Watch them. Butler lets them come and come. He knows he has to do this cos he hasn't go the pace to recover should he try and get a challenge in. How can we have a captain that is so lacking in pace and is the real weakness of a struggling side ? Killa tries to make up for Butler's mistakes by coming over but he is outfoxed and out manouvered by Kamara. I don't think Killa is playing particularly well at the moment cos he's playing in a defensive unit led by Butler which now looks very vulnerable. I think John Terry would struggle next to Butler but what I do find amusing is people like you who try to make out that Killer is as shit as Butler. By all accounts (mates that went whose opinions I respect) Killa was our best defender by a mile yesterday. That's not saying much. He went on to say that once Kelly had gone off it really was a mess, proving how important Gary Kelly is to our defense. Carver - he's missed the point. He got the new manager's performance against Brum which unfortunately made him go into this game unchanged. I think we can probably forgive him that but his next team sheet will be the one that really tells us whether he does know the weaknesses of the team likes he's claiming. THat would mean a new captain and the replacement of Butler at the back and bringing in a loanee left back to replace Crainey. Si, one decent interception and a ball over the top the horse doesn't do it for me ! It's like saying Ian Harte's free kicks were good weren't they ? He's a f'cking defender who can't defend. He shouldn't be in the side.
