You really need to get a new bike or at the very least get a respray, there is no excuse for having a red bike. Kwak do a nice neutral green on their Ninja's, Yamaha do blue, black and grey (and Yellow if you buy the Rossi version like mine), even a blackbird like yours comes in other colours. Ducati have just announced the new 848 supersport for next year and it is expected to come in plain white and if it does I'll have one to replace the R6 ;o) Red bikes ...........oh eeer misus, transport of choice in the communes of lesbos..... I didnt like the blackbird in that mid blue nor the graphite .....when ity comes to choosing bikes I tend to think of high visibility, and red was th best of a bad bunch. I like the R6 a lot, plants itself in the corners and very nimble. Dukes though are a pile o shite. I had an early 900 SS (in red) which would knock itself out of shape going to the shops. After three years of build and rebuild I flogged it for a pittance (now worth a bleeding fortune). I also dabbled with a 916 in the summer of 97....bag of shite...went to spain en masse and I got as far as Perpignan and the engine blew up ( also red), resulted in me going on the back of a CBR 1000 FM for the duration.....which I went out and bought as soon as I got home (also red). I mothballed her last year after 92000 miles ( it went to worldnet and had a screw but in the rear tyre) and she now comes out in the summer only as does the old RD350 (red) , the Suzi GT750 (red) and the pride of the family the pre-unit Triumph Bonneville ( sky blue) Green is non neutral ( Yeovil, Plymouth etc) , I am not ared and Im not a blue.......what colour is your car ? _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
