next massive anti-Jabiluka Mine rally and celebration is this=20
Sunday December 6th.
Starting 4pm at the
STATE LIBRARY LAWNS,=20
and marching through the city to speakers, bands and fun stuff at the=20
ALEXANDRA GARDENS.
Jacqui Katona will be speaking on behalf of the Mirrar people, we also
have
Annette Ziberras, spokesperson for the Wurundjeri tribe, Dave Sweeney
from
ACF,
Alvie Booth, Gary Foley, Chris Wilson, Monica Morgan (Yorta Yorta
tribe),
Monique Brumby, Wendy Rule and Pan.
MOST FUN OF ALL, we have a brand spanking new, hot off the press J.A.G.
InfoBase form for everyone to fill out. This is a key task so that we
can
change our database from a mailing list to an actual resource. Both
current
contactee's and new people should fill one out.
We want a minimum of 10,000 people, so tell all your friends and bring
your
own
rears down to make the morons behind this mine squirm again.
This time we'll be celebrating a minor victory in regard to the recent=
UNESCO
report.
