Dear all,
It seems that the ASU gay & lesbian members' policy discussed on this
week's
program may not be the first of its kind, as was stated on the program &
in
cue sheets, although it remains a very significant development to date.
If the above is the case, I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone
who
may have information/copies of similar policies/resolutions/etc from
other
Australian unions at either a national or branch level. I'd certainly be
interested in following up further on the background of
lesbian/gay/transgendered members' efforts to influence union policy
&/or
that of TLCs & peak bodies such as the ACTU.
