century. As we look towards the beginning of a new period of
industrial
relations in the 2000s, this program reminds us of the many

events which make up our colective labour history [from around the
globe] &
the importance of struggle & resistance into the future. Compiled,

The 80 TCFUA workers from the Australian Dyeing company in
Melbourne's inner
city suburb of Clifton Hill have spent Xmas on the picket line &
will remain
there into the New Year. Today [5/1/99] is Day 36 of their
lockout.
