FUNDRAISER for SOCIAL JUSTICE
Saturday 20th February 1999, 7pm +
Kick the weekend off with a great party by coming to a fundraiser in
support of Grasslands Grocery and Information Cafe...a not for profit
enterprise whose aim is to fund innovative social projects through the
sale of food, personal and household goods and information which are
ecologically sound, socially responsible and affordable
and
the NATIONAL CENTRE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN MENTAL HEALTH (NCHRMH)...a
totally independent (recieves by choice no government funding), not for
profit, groundbreaking human rights centre which advocates without fear
or favour to protect and promote the human rights of people in the
mental health system. The NCHRMH provides a wide range of free
counselling, advocacy, advice and support services that assist people in
moving from simply surviving to thriving in all aspects of their lives.
In addition the Centre runs a range of radical and innovative projects
and programs.
Enjoy an organic Vegetarian feast of Greek, Vietnamese, Thai,
Spanish/Latin American, African and Italian food, great music and good
company.
