FOREIGN STUDENT'S STORY: A Cautionary Tale
Produced by Dai Le and Chris Bullock
---------------------------------------------------------
Tran lives on the streets now. He doesn't speak English. He's got no
money, no family in Australia. His parents paid $5000 to have him taught
English at a college here, but Tran dropped out of classes after about a
month. The money from home never came and he has no return ticket.

He has nowhere to live, no one to care for him.

Tran is 15. The only people who have taken any interest in him are the
drug dealers.

Background Briefing, this Sunday after the news at 9.
