The Melbourne Millions 4 Mumia Steering Committee will meet
7 pm Thursday 4 March

The committee, which met for the first time on Tuesday 23 February, is a
united front of socialists from many tendencies, anarchists, feminists,
student activists, trade unionists and organisers to stop deaths in custody.
All who want to campaign to free Mumia Abu-Jamal are welcome. Mumia, a
former Black Panther leader, journalist and principled Black radical who
never sold out, is on death row in the United States threateted with
execution for a crime he did not commit.
The Steering Committee is organising a Melbourne protest as part of an
international day of action on Saturday 24 April.
