Make a free East Timor a part of the workers' day, May Day!
Action in Solidarity with Indonesia and East Timor (ASIET) is organising a
FREE EAST TIMOR contingent in the May Day rally.
***Come along and join the contingent which is meeting at the Eight-Hour
Monument, corner of Lygon and Victoria Streets, Carlton at 1.45pm on
Sunday, May 2. ***
Look out for the East Timor banner at the Monument and feel free to bring
your own banners and placards. Hear and support East Timorese activists
such as Shirley Shackleton and march in the May Day Rally.
All welcome to join us and send a clear message to the Australian
government that Australian workers' interests are not the same as this
government's.
